Mississippi Association of Biology Educators (MSABE) held their annual meeting October 21, 2008. Each member received a cd-rom containing the OBTA 2007 Share-a-Thon activities. We had door prizes for every member, from posters, and HHMI freebies, to skull, and skeletons and Electrophoresis kits. Members were introduced to the OPBTA-MS recipient, Madelene Loftin, and encouraged to nominate themselves or other teachers for the award. Melinda Miller presided at the meeting, and Lender Luse assisted as president-elect.
