Full Lease Program, starting at $225/month (was $300/month) This option is a wonderful way to experience horse ownership without the cost of buying a horse, or the obligations that come with owning one. It teaches responsibility and respect for the animals that devote themselves to us. It is also an excellent way of gauging further interest in purchasing a horse. To participate in a full lease, the lessee must be able to devote time at least 3 days a week to the lease horse. A full lease includes exclusive use of DLS horse for 6 days a week, use of DLS tack and equipment, use of all facilities and riding ring (as long as there is no interference with scheduled lessons, and covers all boarding costs. Other costs MAY include regular worming, routine vet visits or farrier costs, fly spray, etc. In addition, a full lease entitles lessee to first right of refusal if lease horse is offered for sale.

Half Lease Program, starting at $125/month (was $175/month) This option allows the lessee to begin expanding thier abilities without the cost or obligation involved with a horse ownership or the time involved in a full lease. A half lease includes use of DLS horse 3 days a week. Horse may still be used in our regular lesson program, or other DLS event. Half lease also includes use of DLS tack and equipment, and use of facilities and riding ring as long as there is no interference with scheduled lessons. As with the full lease, this option also gives the lessee the responsibility of horse care, and a chance to bond with one special horse more than would be possible through a single weekly lesson.
