Meet "Billy" and a very long story about his health, "Petland" and "The Hunte Corp."

Available male akc apri registered and micro-chipped. Orange sable born 11-27-05. I Purchased him at a Tucson "Petland" on March 5,05. Originally priced at $1,799.00, the owner "Peter" discounted him $901.00, I don't know the reason why. I did tell the owner I only came to his store because I saw a tiny akc black male Pom with Champion lines that a breeder friend of mine bought from him two days earlier for $700.00 " I also told him I was a "Pom" breeder and looking for a small black male with Ch. lines. "Petland" said he didn't have one but had others, he also said "black Poms are not popular & he sat here for months.", he said "she paid in the neighborhood of $1,000.00 and her puppy was originally priced at about $1800.00 and she financed it!"
The Pomeranian male he showed me was not the so called "unpopular black" and I believe he sat at thier store for 2 or 3 weeks not months not like hers did, so why did he discount him like that? I never did find out why I got the discount. Anyways he gave me this "great discount!! From 1799.00 to only $900.00 + tax $968.40 on Sat. March 5th.
My new puppy "Billy" came with a (3) year "health warranty Petland contract" a few other perks even included a "Free" vet exam from "Petlands" vet.
On Mon. March 7th "VCA" animal hospital "Petlands" "mandatory" vetenarian answered my questions why Billy coughed alot and had diahrhea??
Because "Billy" also came with "kennel cough" and "Patella Luxation grade 2. For those who don't know what Luxation is, it is when one or both of the knee caps on the hind leg pops out of its'joint.
As I am a breeder and "Petland" is a professional dog peddler, we both know breeding dogs with patella luxation is totally irresponsiable but to not tell me especially knowing I am going to use him specifically for breeding is more than irresponsiable it is more than just deceptive, it is a morally desperate act, a cruel white collar robbery and greedy behaviour to knowingly and willingly encourage me to buy and commit myself to this problem masqurading as a respectable honest business transaction while all the time it was just a fraudulant scheme.
Lie 1: "Petlands" vet tells me its a grade 2 luxation and 99% of the time they "grow out of it".
That is a lie! 2 vets told me that what happens is thier joint swells from the pain and that is why it stops popping out and he will most likely have arthritis .
2nd lie: The "Petlands" vet tells me he got it from not having enough exercise, the joint got loose.
That is a lie! It is genetic!
3rd lie: "Peter" owner of "Petland" in Tucson completely agreed with the vet and said nearly the same story word for word as the vet and he wasn't even there.
Deception from the "Petland vet" and "Petland Peter"' became clear to me about my puppies health and the risks involved by taking Billy home with me, coated in smiles and "don't worry about its" from both of them. Mr. "Petland never told me anything about "kennel cough" being common from his store until after it was too late, or how it can easily turn into something else and collapse thier trachea, cause blue eye and kill puppies within 24 hrs, he said to try and isolate him from my other 10 dogs, seems it was my problem now. Mr. cheap vet would not even give me any medicine for my dogs to help prevent an infection, he said" I can't do that" " "Petland pays for your puppies exam and any medication he needs but no others" and of course I couldn't buy it either because he would have to examine each dog and i didn't happen to bring all 10 dogs with me.
"Peter" should have taken" Billy" back and nursed him for three weeks like I did until he was well especially since I told him I really had no way to isolate him 24/7 . "Peter" told me he did not want Billy in his store with kennel cough, and about the Patella Luxation "Mr Petland" told me to call him back in 7 or 8 months so the puppy could run around and clear up his luxation. Then if I wanted another dog or my money back he will give it to me. He also told me that he is aware and that by his own choice he buys puppies with Luxation from The Hunte Corp. all the time, he said most people don't care.. I think that is because most people do not know what it is. I did not know, I found out the truth when I took Billy for his last puppy shot to my own vet and his exact words were " well we know that's a lie! "
LIE 4: I would now like to address the "kennel cough" which is very contagious and his "Petland distributor "The Hunte Corp." they advertise that they do not buy puppies with Patella Luxation. The point is the breeder said she sells them that way. "Petland " said they don't mind buying them that way from the Hunte Corp. and the Hunt Corp says they have 2 staff vets that work for them 24/7 and every single puppy is throughly checked and kept in thier warehouse location for 1 week before being shipped off to all the "Petlands" accross the U.S. approx.1,000 puppies leave every week and another thousand comes in. "Peter" told me he knows what puppies he will be getting every Thursday.
"Rebel", "Muffin" "Bella" & "Beau" all had kennel cough by April 8th . "Peter" only agreed to pay the vet bill after I threatened him.
"Bella" and "Beau" are still very sick.. It is now April 27th and they cough all the time. I am taking them back to the vet tomorrow and I called "Peter" but he said he would only give me back the money I paid for "Billy" and since he paid a $294.00 vet bill he would deduct that from the total $968.40. I paid for "Billy" .
"The Hunte Corp" in Missouri is "Petlands" distributor. I called the person who was responsiable for breeding her dogs and creating "Billy" who informed me she has allready been marked down two times for selling the Hunte corp. puppies with luxation. Please call me I know I'm not the only one! Don't let anyone tell you that "kennel cough" is no big deal!! It is a very big deal and a little dog walking around on three legs isn't being cute, he is in pain! Let's compare notes. Let's hit them where it hurts right in thier greedy "Deep Pockets" and unconscionable little minds!
