History The car was bought in Silver City, NM. THe original owner put about 100k miles on it before parking it. It sat fopr many years and was sold to a man in Las Cruces, NM. When he looked at the car carefully he discovered the engine had been replaced. He contacted the first owner. She had no idea that the engine had been changed. She divorced her previous husbund and doesn't know where he is to ask him about it. Anyway, he found a correct date 71 383HP in a junkyard and rebuilt. He restored the car to a nice driver. I bought the car about 10 years after the restoration in January 1998 with about 3k miles on it. I have tried to keep everything as original as possible.
