McIntyre Acoustic Pickups

You Can Not Buy A Better Pickup For Your Acoustic Instrument

McIntyre Acoustic Pickups offer simply the best sound reproduction of your acoustic instrument available today. Other manufacturers offer one transducer and expect it to work on every instrument, and you know your mandolin is different from your banjo. In the case of guitars a thin strip transducer under the saddle that only picks up string vibrations is the most common. With the thin sounds these offer, you might as well be playing bluegrass with a electric guitar. Why do you think they call them thinlines anyway? You simply can not get the full range of sound of your acoustic instrument with these set ups. Carl McIntyre, a respected luthier, frustrated with the available pickups for acoustic instruments set out to design a system that would reproduce the range of sound of acoustic instruments without the problems of having rely on microphones. We think he has succeeded beyond what anyone thought possible. I will never forget installing one in a customer's Martin guitar who came to get a McIntyre Pick-up simply because it was cheaper than the other name brands he had been looking at. He plugged in for the first time and played a few chords, looked at me with amazement and said " That sounds like an ACOUSTIC GUITAR !" If you want your acoustic to sound like an acoustic you owe it to yourself to try a McIntyre Acoustic Pickup. We at BlueStrings Music are proud to install McIntyre Pickups. We carry no other line. It's not that we wouldn't put in a better pickup but so far we haven't found it. If you are not near us seek out a local McIntyre dealer. Most of them should have the McIntyre Pickup testers for guitars and you would have the chance to hear the difference on your guitar free of charge before you buy. No one else makes that offer. But go ahead and take your money along. If you are serious about your acoustic sound, We feel sure your search will be over. Check out the McIntyre Acoustic Pickup web site link below for more info and your local dealer or contact BlueStrings Music if you don't have a local dealer. We would love help you if we can.
