Here are Ron and I after a month in the RV parks. We fit
right in.........

Who says that retirees get no respect? Here is Ron sitting in the co-pilot seat (almost like old times)of the small plane that flew us over the summit of Mt. McKinley. They even gave us a $10.00 Delta discount :-).
I, of course, was sitting by the emergency exit and ready to evacuate if necessary.......

This is a picture of the 14,000 ft. base camp for climbing the west bustress of Mt. McKinley. I drew in where we could see the base camp and a trail leading up the mountain. There were climbers, but they were dots.

You will be glad to see that my bear photography has improved! While on a bus trip through Denali park we spotted this grizzly and her cub. They were so far away, we could barely see them.
We were amazed when they started running towards our bus and couldn't believe our luck when they came right up to the bus and spent a long time there.

I don't know if you can tell, but the cub is eating a banana peel. It's a no-no to leave food in the park because generally when the bears start tasting human food, they become dangerous.
We saw 8 grizzly bears on this trip.
