Links and information about transportation to and from McCarron Airport and around Las Vegas and Boulder City.

Boulder City is located about 25 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. The town can be reached by bus, taxi, shuttlebus, limo, or town car. You can also drive out to Boulder City by clicking on the link below for door-to-door driving instructions.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM BOULDER CITY

SHOWTIME AIRPORT SHUTTLE
Picks up at Boulder Dam Hotel, Boulder City
4 a.m. to 8 p.m., every 4 hours
Picks up at McCarron Airport, Las Vegas
6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every 4 hours
$55 one person plus tip round trip
Phone: (702) 261-6100 - call ahead of time to schedule a ride. This service drops you at the Boulder Dam Hotel, so bring light luggage or on wheels as you will have to walk to your hotel.

Alternatively, there is the Bell Town Car available that will take you door-to-door from the airport to your hotel at $28.00 plus tip - they usually charge two hours to come out to Boulder City. Phone (702) 739-7990 or 1-800-274-7433 to schedule a ride.

All of the Hotels-Motels require some walking to the class venue (half to one mile) unless you have a car or there is another student in the class willing to give you a ride.

TAXI SERVICE. There is no taxi service available in Boulder City.

CITIZENS AREA TRANSPORT (CAT) SERVICE 116
There is public transportation that does a loop route around Boulder City. The bus comes from Henderson and stops at the Railroad Pass Hotel Casino before coming into town. It makes a right on Buchanan, close to local hotels/motels, fast food, restaurants and grocery stores. It comes down to Adams where it makes a right and then up Utah. There is a stop on Utah, opposite the 7-11 store, close to the class venue. On its return route it goes up Utah, turns left on Arizona and left on Nevada Highway, near many restaurants, and local hotels/motels. The 116 leaves Boulder City on Nevada Highway and stops at the Railroad Pass Hotel Casino on its way out of town to Henderson. This is an hourly service and the fare is $1.25 each way payable on the bus. Transfers are available on the bus to link to other bus routes in Henderson.

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION IN BOULDER CITY
If you are over 60, there is senior transportation that can give you a ride, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., from your hotel/motel to the class venue for $2.00 per ride - call the week before to schedule rides (702) 293-3320. You will need to fill out an information card on the bus.

If you are over 50, there is an evening shuttle available, from 3.30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for $2.00 per stop. The evening shuttle can also take visitors over 50 out to the Hacienda Casino or the Railroad Pass Casino for $5.00 round trip. The Hacienda Casino has a movie theater as well as the usual casino attractions. This must also be scheduled the week before by calling (702) 293-3320.
