b. Presentation - makes all of the difference. Class 3 - May 10, 2006 @ 7 p.m: Class and Special Dogs (Show Dogs).
a. Class Dogs - Dogs and bitches earning championship points for WD, WB, BOS, BOW and BOB.
b. Special Dogs - champions and winners competing for BOB. Class 4 - May 17, 2006 @ 7 p.m: AKC All Breed Shows (Mail-in Entries). a. AKC Groups - Best of Breed competing with other breeds of the same group.
b. AKC Best in Show - Group 1 winners competing for BIS.
Class 5 - May 24, 2006 @ 7 p.m: AKC Specialty Shows. a. Champions and winners competing for BISS. (Entry Deadline).
b. Photography - why take a picture. Class 6 - May 31, 2006 @ 7 p.m: Dog Show Planning. a. - 6 months before the show - choosing the show and judges.
b. - 30 days before - signing up for the show.
c. - 7 days before - grooming to improve presentation.
d. - 5 days before - show schedule comes-out.
e. - 1 day before - cleaning, grooming and packing.
f. - 1 hour before - arrival before show.
Class 7 - June 6, 2006 (Tuesday) @ 7 p.m: Transportation and Canine Care. a. Supplies and Equipment.
b. Grooming/leashes.
c. Medical supplies.
d. Crates and X-pens.
e. Shade and seating.
f. Feeding the gang.
Class 8 - June 10, 2006 (Saturday) @ 8 a.m: Day of the Show Field Trip - The class will meet at the Chico Dog Fanciers all breed dog show in Gridley, California. Click "Back," on your browser to the home page to see if space is still available (in yellow fonts).
Space is available on a first come, first serve basis when the completed training form, proof of vaccination and a $80 check is received. To pre-register, open the training form, print the form, fill-it-out, and send it with proof of vaccination and a $80 check to: Cleve Dufer, 25821 Le Claire Ave., Los Molinos, CA 96055.
