How can pecans be so cheap?

Simple. At WCF, we stuff more than 3 1/2 pounds of our big (organically grown) mixed variety pecans into our 3 pound bag. Extra amounts of pecans have always been put into our 3 pound (48 ounce) bag. Although you pay for three pounds, you get more than 8 ounces over what you pay or 56 ounces in all.

That works out to only 86 cents per pound.

Smaller waxed in-the-shell pecans are from a $1.99 to $2.99 per pound in warehouse grocery stores, if you can find them at all. And our pecans are dried in a special quarter ton turbine pecan dryer. The pecans are dried at 100,000 BTU for hours peaking at 150 degrees Fahrenheit. This gives our pecans an incredible deep flavor that no other pecan outside of WCF can match.

And remember, this is a hobby of ours, not a business. We sell pecans cheap, so pecans become a part of your families winter tradition. Since our prices go back decades (50% to 70% off warehouse grocery store prices), why buy pecans from any where else.
