Inasmuch as Lynn M. Dufer, Breeder, Rodina Borzoi, hereafter known as the Seller, offers for sale a borzoi puppy as follows:

Sire: Kyrov's Intrigue of Rodina x Dam: Kyrov's Even Mine of Rodina
And inasmuch as __________________________________________________ hereafter known as the buyer, wishes to purchase the Borzoi described above for the sum of $_________ under the following warranties and conditions. No other warranties or conditions are either expressed or implied.
1. The seller guarantees that the above described dog is a purebred Borzoi and can be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC), that a litter registration application has been completed and accepted by the AKC and a true copy of the pedigree has been given to the buyer.
2. The Seller guarantees that the Borzoi is in good health. This Borzoi can be returned for any reason within 72 hours and the Seller will refund 100% to the buyer the amount of the above purchase price as paid. After this 72 hour period, the buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, appearance and general well-being of the dog. The buyer is encouraged to take the dog to a veterinarian for verification of good health.
3. For the purpose of this agreement, the term show potential is taken to mean that, at the time of sale: a) this Borzoi has no serious and/or disqualifying conformation or temperament faults; b) that said Borzoi compares favorably with other Borzoi of similar age and sex; and c) that in the opinion of the seller, this Borzoi has favorable prospects of becoming a reasonable representative of the breed as outlined in the official standard of AKC. However, the Buyer understands that no warranty as to the eventual development and/or show results of this Borzoi are either expressed or implied.
4. Should any life-limiting congenital defect be discovered within one year of sale, proof must be submitted in writing by; a) a veterinarian chosen by the seller, or b) a state veterinarian college. Upon receipt of such proof and a certificate of cuthanasia, the seller will refund to the Buyer the amount of the above purchase price, as paid, or upon receipt of a certificate of spay or neuter the Seller agrees to refund $200.00.
5. If, in the future, the Buyer find it impossible to keep this Borzoi, it is agreed that the Seller will be given the first right for refusal. If the seller cannot take the Borzoi, they agree to render all reasonable assistance to the Buyer in placing the Borzoi in a new home.

7. Precautions for the borzoi sold herein included, but are not limited to:
a well fenced yard or exercise area with at least a 5 or 6 ft. high fence
adequate shelter
adequate diet
adequate exercise
adequate medical care
8. Prior to transferring ownership of the Borzoi to the Buyer, the Seller or his or her representative, shall have the right to visit the Buyer's home to determine if the Buyer can adequately provide for the well being of the Borzoi.
9. As a safety precaution, the Seller shall have a veterinarian or qualified person insert a micro-chip for identification of the Borzoi so that in the event that the Borzoi gets lost, searchers will be able to identify the Borzoi. This will be included in the purchase price above. This shall be done prior to transferring ownership of the Borzoi to the Buyer.
10. The Seller shall have the exclusive right to name the Borzoi the AKC kennel name or portion of the name as determined by the Seller.
