Just a thought for Fathers Day

MY CHALLENGE TO DADS
In a day when real men are hard to find,
Men with courage and a heart that is kind,
Men with a love for God and a desire for right,
Are you one that will stand up and fight?
We have enough whiners and those that are weak,
We need those that are strong and steady, yet meek,
Those that will bend but determined not to break,
Those willing to give, not just from others take.
My heart is sad at what some men are today,
Men that fail because of the fear of the fray,
Where are the winners, those that simply do right?
Those that will bring light to this dark night.
God give us men to work and His will to do,
Knowing the hour is late and the laborers few,
Those that have a song and a testimony true,
With character so old, its seems to be new.
My God is calling to you this very day,
To stand up and walk the Heavenly way,
To show the world what a real man can be,
Its the only way to know what it is to be free.
This Preacher is also calling out to our men,
To stand tall and clean and unstained by sin,
Dont do what the others may choose to do,
Its not a call for others, but a call for you.
We are losing a generation of real men of God,
That desire to walk where great men have trod,
This is a challenge to step up and take your place,
And be a real man, by Gods mercy and grace.
