Timber Marketing:
I will meet your objectives and seek the highest price for your timber. Marking and tallying the trees, flagging the timber sale perimter and contacting adjoining landowners with certified mail, seeking bids from many timber buyers, giving tours of your timber to prospective buyers, and providing a written contract between you and the timber buyer. Periodic harvest inspections are conducted to ensure that the logger complies with the contract.
Timber Appraising:
I professionally measure your timber and determine volume and value figures. These are presented in an easy to read report that can be used for tax purposes, or when buying and selling property.
Management Plans:
I determine your objectives. Do you want to manage for long-term timber production, or for wildlife habitat? Do you need to supplement your income now or at your retirement? I separate your property into stands of similar timber types, map these areas, determine volumes and management needs, and determine management needs for each timber type.
This is all presented in a written management plan.
