A GOLFING PARADISE 
FORTUNE HILLS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB
A challenging 9-hole course, popular with both locals, winter residents and visitors, Fortune Hills has the longest par 5 in the Bahamas (530 yds.). A friendly clubhouse bar is open where you'll feel right at home after the game. Inquire about Fortune Hills Annual Membership plan if you are visiting on-island often. Two courses, well-manicured, the Ruby and Emerald are home to several winter tournaments. Both 18-hole courses are challenging. There is also a well-stocked Pro Shop. The first golf course to open in The Bahamas since 1969, Our Lucaya Reef Course boasts 6,920 yards of links-style playing grounds. Described by the architect, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. as "...a bit like a Scottish course, but a lot warmer," the course requires precise shotmaking to avoid its numerous lakes - with water on 13 of its 18 holes.
