About Stembaugh Photography

Stembaugh Photography is located in Lafayette Indiana.
Founded in 2006 by David Stembaugh.



I still use film- Why? Prints made from film images last longer than digital ink jets or laser jet prints. There is a permanment record of that special moment- the negative-
it is not gone when the computer crashes or a server goes down.
I'm forced to make better decisions about everything: composition, exposure, film speed and such.
I am passionate about my photography, I want to capture the personality of the people in my portraits, and the emotions dispalyed during special moments.

My studio is portable and can be set up in my home or yours or on location.

I can set my rates lower because I do not have the expensive overhead of a fancy studio.
