WHAT'S NEW
FEBRUARY 2002 -- The Foals are Arriving

Check out the nursery page for picture of our new arrivals.  We are expecting seven foals this year, six by Echo Bey IA and one by Maggnitude EA.  Several will be available for sale.  We had two born the same night (very accommodating mares), one filly and one colt!

SEPTEMBER 2001 - AHAM/HAAM Futurity

Echo Bey IA's offspring had an impressive record at the 2001 AHAM/HAAM Futurity.  The star was Echsposee' IA, a half-arabian bay tobiano weanling filly,  who won her weanling half-arabian filly class, the HAAM Gold Class and then went Grand Champion Half Arabian Mare over a tough class including Regional winners.  Selket Exotiecho, who has had an exciting year under the capable hands of Trademark Arabian's Glenna and Al Gruppen winning championships at almost every show shown, did not disappoint here and  won the three year old purebred filly class and was Grand Champion Three Year Old of the show.  Echcited IA went Reserve in a tough Senior Weanling Purebred Colt class finishing behind a showy Afire Bey V Colt.  Echstream IA won his Senior Yearling Colt class.  Some of these exciting show prospects are available for sale, don't miss out on your next year contender, all are sweepstakes nominated!  Echo Bey IA was presented during the stallion presentation and the breeding donated to the AHAM auction was purchased by Sy and Clara Burns.

AUGUST -  CHANGES AT ECHO LANE FARM!

Echo Lane Farm bids a sad farewell to Barn Manager, Anjie Wright who has moved up north to finish college and welcomes aboard our new Manager, Renee Brown.   Look Forward to some new and exciting changes here at Echo Lane Farms.

2001 - THE FOALS ARE HERE!

Check out the Nursery page to see the two new foals. French Flick, our black and white saddlebred pleasure type mare produced a gorgeous tri-color filly by Echo and our premier broodmare Influence Khamona, a *Furno Khamal daughter, produced another knockout bay colt with legs for days.  This boy is going to be tall.

NOW

Echo is home chilling and watching over his foals.  We are in a relaxed state at present but will be gearing up shortly for the breeding season.  We are expecting three babies by Echo next year.  Two are half arabs, one out of a palomino quarter horse and one out of a black and white pleasure type saddlebred mare; one is out of our premier *Furno Khamal daughter, Influence Khamona.  Inquiries on his 2000 foals or the 2001 in utero foals are invited.  Why not plan a visit, Echo and I would love to show you around!

October 2000

Echo and I hit Freedom hall, in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday night.  It was our first try at a National Title and Echo did not disappoint.  In a tough class of 24 of the Nation's best, Echo got his first National Top Ten in AAOTH Breeding Stallion.  Atta Boy Echo!  Influence Arabians would like to thank Cathy Wright for her faith in and excellent training of Echo Bey IA for the 2000 show season and for all his "people" who cheered him on to victory -- It was the most exciting moment of our lives!

September 2000

Echo's first large foal crop hits the Futurity and with great success.  Congratulations to the following:
Echo Bella IA -- Reserve Senior Weanling Fillies
Echo SaPreme IA --  Fourth Place Senior Weanling Fillies
Echstream IA -- Reserve Senior Weanling Colts
Echzactly Rite IA -- Fourth Place Senior Weanling Colts
Echspresso Bean IA - Fifth Place Half Arabian Colts
Echo Lee IA -- Reserve Two Year Old Fillies
Echo Bey IA -- Get of Sire Champion!!!!!!!

Echo was shown in stallion presentation and was well received.  Be sure to
bid on his breeding for the HAAM Gold Class.  His half arabian babies are knockouts!

August 2000

Echo's first driving class at Mason Michigan put him in third place.  However his next attempt at the State Fair gave him reserve out of three horses entered -- good enough to get the performance point necessary to qualify him for Nationals halter!

May 2000

In conjunction with Saddle Up America, Echo Lane Farms, home of Influence Arabians,  hosted an open house.  Many people attended.  Echo Bey IA was brought home for the event and put on quite a show for the audience.  All his foals were presented with bloodline information passed on.  Anjie Wright, Echo Lane Farms' Barn and Breeding Manager, gave a presentation on Breeding by AI.  Ashley Tyson gave a demonstation of jumping techniques.  We had a good turnout and we all had a good time.  We hope to continue this as an annual event.
