WELCOME LETTER

Hi All,

And, welcome to the Official Will Snow Fan Club.

Prior to the Lost World Convention of 2003, I had never thought for a moment that I might have a place where my supporters and friends could meet. However, through the enthusiasm and hard work of Eva and others who have established this club, they have managed to create a place on my behalf where this is possible. And, for that I thank them.

Without you the fans, the actor has no role! I sincerely appreciate all your support. Stay tuned!

All the best,

Will Snow

THIS IS YOUR CLUB
I want to thank everyone for their patience and endurance over the past few weeks as I struggled to pull the membership kits together. Quality was the uppermost priority. Only the best where our Will is concerned. I hope the final outcome pleases everyone.
Several posts have been made on the board asking for ideas for what you would like to see in our monthly newsletter, and many of you have sent me your suggestions. But theres always room for more.

The newsletter was kept simple for the first edition, but hopefully in the near future, well have news of Wills upcoming projects.

There are numerous people I need to give credit to for many of the jpegs used for items in the kit, as well as ideas, suggestions and support. Nothing is achieved alone. So my thanks go to:

CAP, Lex, Susan Fraser, Catseye, CatsMeow, Penny Hogue, Penny Mayo, CalGal, Ryalin, Jacqueline Barr, Julia Creaser, Beckers, Katybelle, Sherri Hopkins, Genie Harman, Karin Kabbe, Stdwynwen, Annette (Lady P), Julianne Dishongh, Lee Ann Weller, Janice Hicks, Pam Potocska, CMS, Kathy (St. Elmo).

The list is endless of those members who have offered their assistance. I tried to list everyone but if your name was omitted, please send me an e-mail ASAP so I can correct the oversight. All you wonderful people who have played a part in this deserve credit.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Celebrating birthdays last month (December) were:
Jacqueline Barr, Joanna Carabott and Lynda Shaw

Celebrating their special day this month January are:
Cara Anderson and Keeli Clemmons

May you have a year filled with joy and good fortune!

HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU TOLD?
The main purpose of a fan club is to promote the career of the honoree, so this question is going to appear in each and every newsletter. How many people have you told today how you feel about Will Snow? Have you mentioned thats hes the next up and coming Aussie actor? Who have you convinced lately that he should be the next James Bond? Lets make sure we get the word out to everyone who will listen. Our mission is to make him as well known as all those other Aussie actors.

.and just in case you have any friends or family interested in joining.

SECOND CONTEST

CAP has created our second Will Snow Fan Club contest. Its an essay writing adventure. Use your writing skills to tell us what your favorite Roxton episode from The Lost World is and why in 100 words or less. The winning contribution will be published in the next newsletter. First prize will be a TOTSS poster. Our CAP was fortunate enough to find this brief industry blurb and share with us.

Tales is a colourful change of scenery. The first taste Television has of the 22-part turn-of-the-century epic is in the form of a sizzle reel, industry-speak for a promotional video of excerpts from the series. "Set in a dangerous and exotic world," intoned the narrator as images of rugged seamen, bawdy wenches and restless natives appeared on the screen.

"It's not quite Cecil B De Mille," joked producer Darryl Sheen, "but by the standards of Australian TV it's pretty close." Starring in the production is William Snow, a former model and newcomer to acting who plays the lead role of adventurer David Grief.
