This is one of the first Gourds I weaved in leather. I use the suede side of the leather for the body, and the face side for the weave. 
This Elephant was made with 2 different gourds. The head and trunk is an Apache Dipper gourd and the ears were fashioned from a Bushel gourd. The stand was taken from the neck of an Apache Dipper gourd. $225.00 plus shipping |

This Turtle is a Christmas gift for my step-daughter. I cut the legs out of wood. His shell is leather that was pre-textured. Looks just like a shell, the leather makes the neck look real too. |
