Welcome to The NE-HI House (Of Potential). Just 1 block from one of the most beautiful harbors in the State of Maine, this adorable 2BR, 1BA cottage is surrounded by grand "summer cottages" that have been passed down through generations by family. Experience all the magic and charm of this tiny coastal village that was named in honor of a seaside town in Italy. You'll want to return again and again. This is Sorrento Harbor overlooking the mountains of Acadia and the village of Bar Harbor. Sorrento is a 3 mile long peninsula located directly across Frenchman Bay from Bar Harbor. By car, it is about a half hours drive to Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island. The Schoodic region of Acadia is a little closer, about 12 miles away. Kitchen has electric stove, refrigerator and this is where the stackable washer/dryer is as well. There is a coffeemaker, toaster, teapot, coffee bean grinder, even a lobster pot with crackers/picks/platters. Includes all dishes, pots & pans for you to prepare meals. Sorry no dishwasher. There is also a microwave on a cart in the dining area. Living room has hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, skylight, and a ceiling fan. (The fireplace remains as a decorative feature and is non-functional.) Inside the Living Room armoire you find a 32" LCD-TV/DVD w/cable. The sofa folds out into a Queen sized bed. There is a writing desk outfitted with a deck of cards, a scrabble game, and even some notecard stationery. High speed cable is also available if you want to bring your laptop. Dining table with seating for four. There are 2 extra places for seating at the bar (to the right outside of this shot). Full bath with tub/shower. Towels and soaps are included. In this bedroom you'll find a queen sized bed with duvet cover/down comforter. A storage chest at the foot of the bed holds extra bedding. There is an oversized chair with a nice reading lamp. There is also an armoire with a hanging rack and a 2 drawer dresser. You'll also find a TV with cable, and an alarm clock on the night table. This bedroom has 2 twin beds with duvet covers/down comforters. There is a chest of drawers and closet for clothes. Night stand has alarm clock/table lamp. There is also a comfortable rocking chair (not shown in picture.) |
