Department of Veterans Affairs: The official VA website. Explains benefits and contains all the forms you need to file claims for disability compensation or pension, requests for your VA records, education benefits, vocational rehabilitation and VA home loan information. You can also download a US government Standard Form 180, which you will need to order copies of your military personnel and medical records.
Military.com: Double-click here and become a member. This site contains everything you need to know about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, veterans' benefits and legislative action affecting active-duty military and veterans. Locate former members of your unit and join, or start, a military.com group of your unit.
National Archives: Request U.S. government records that pertain to your unit in Vietnam during the time you were there. These documents are often the crucial evidence in your claim for veterans' benefits.
