Because of these different operations it is highly recommended that the pellet stove is installed by a professional. It is also highly recommended that it is installed using a stainless steel chimney liner. In most cases pellet stove installations are custom designed and installed to your chimney system and pellet stove. These installations are designed to prevent mechanical and electrical / electronic problems and keeping soot contained within the exhaust system.
Pellet stoves need to be ran hot to prevent creosote build-up in the chimney liner.
