This is me at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, just outside of the Cherokee Indian Reservation in Cherokee, North Carolina...

This is the Newfound Gap mounument. This is right at the border of Tennessee/North Carolina. And the fog is why the place is called "Smoky Mountains".

This is the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee early one morning...happened to be sitting on the balcony of my hotel with a big cup of coffee! ;)

This is me with a Russian MiG-21 in the Tennessee Air Museum...I was thinking of taking it for a little test-flight!

The main street in the Cherokee Indian Reservation...there is a huge casino right down from here (Harrah's Cherokee Casino). I also happen to be part Cherokee!

The Welcome Center in downtown Cherokee...the writing at the top is the Cherokee language...

Then I went home...I only live an hour or so away from the Reservation and National Park...
