Our bull turned out to be a son of Rangers Impact, one of the all time leading sires of show winning Longhorns. Impacts Easy Rider (right) became the foundation of our breeding program. He made very flashy calves with deep bodies and outstanding dispositions. We loved his heifers so much that in 2002, after a lot of tears, we decided to sell him and keep his heifers to continue building our breeding program.

Our up and coming Junior herd sire is Magnolia's Lucky Sure Shot (right), a multiple time class winner on the 2002 show circuit. Lil' Lucky is a majestic blend of a full-bodied cow, Sure Shots Ms Magnolia, FD and the 2000 third longest horned bull in the world at 67 5/8, L Go Lucky.

When friends of ours retired from the Longhorn business we where fortunate enough to purchase some of their herd. One of the cows was an Impressive daughter that had a 2000 black and white bull calf out of Whelming Blackjack. Blackjacks Ace (left) became the new senior herd sire. His first offspring are due in the fall of 2002.
