HORSES DON'T HAVE HANDLEBARS

A novel by Kat Downing

For years the big publishing houses have told me there was no market for a biker hero. Knowing many, I naturally want to prove them wrong.

With your help I can.

Publish America took a chance on me and on ALL of us.

Summary:

After a meeting with an old friend, Haste, a combat veteran and biker, tries to ride away from the reoccurring violence of his past. Instead, he wrecks his bike and finds himself ensnared in the ways of a small town in New Hampshire's White Mountains. A town that never gave up the practice of indentured servants.

This is one of the best books I've read in 1 day! I am amazed at how much emotion it brings forth. This was one of those stories that you just can't put down, you want to keep reading until the end. The characters are so real: You want to hug Earl, smack Frank, cheer for Haste, help Kara, and be a part of the commaraderie of their "brothers". A definite must read and I look forward to the next Kat Downing book. High Five Kat...you did good!

Horses Don't Have Handlebars is a fast and exciting read. Kat Downing did a great job of going into the minds of the characters and taking the readers along with her for a fascinating ride. She's a writer of extraordinary scope and talent.

Horses Don't Have Handlebars is a great read--a tender tale of caring wrapped in exciting action and suspense. I fell in love with the characters and Downing's prose is incredible. -Alyssa Agee, Seattle, Washington
