What readers are saying: Emotionally Charged, August 5, 2003 Reviewer: msmom121 from Lake Elsinore, CA United States This is one of the best books I've read in 1 day! I am amazed at how much emotion it brings forth. This was one of those stories that you just can't put down, you want to keep reading until the end. The characters are so real: You want to hug Earl, smack Frank, cheer for Haste, help Kara, and be a part of the commaraderie of their "brothers". A definite must read and I look forward to the next Kat Downing book. High Five Kat...you did good! Horses Don't Have Handlebars is a fast and exciting read. Kat Downing did a great job of going into the minds of the characters and taking the readers along with her for a fascinating ride. She's a writer of extraordinary scope and talent. Karen Clayton, Ottawa, Canada Horses Don't Have Handlebars is a great read--a tender tale of caring wrapped in exciting action and suspense. I fell in love with the characters and Downing's prose is incredible. -Alyssa Agee, Seattle, Washington
