The Christian music industry has always been baffled by Rhonda's music, not quite knowing where to pigeon-hole her. She is a strange mix of rock, blues, country, gospel, etc., not really conforming to any particular genre but managing to appeal to fans across the board. Her musical influences range from Mark Heard and Keith Green (to whom she is most often compared) to secular artists that many Christians may find offensive but who, in Rhonda's opinion, carry deposits in them that were intended for God all along. She doesn't apologize for making room for all kinds of music. "Music has a life and soul all its own," Rhonda says. "It's a living, breathing thing, as alive as any person. Or, at least, it should be."

Rufus Harris - "Christian music from the west suburbs of Detroit. Think vocals like Curtis Mayfield crossed with Clapton type guitar playing."

Sounds of IMANI is a contemporary gospel vocal/music group which began ministering in 1996, overcoming many difficult circumstances and challenges. IMANI is an African word meaning faith and this group lives up to its name. Their core scripture is Hebrews 11:6 from which they have a powerful testimony. They've seen the hand of God move right at the point and time when it seemed as if all hope was gone. Their musical harmony has touched the hearts of many bringing healing, joy and inspiration to listeners of all ages. Gerald and Carol Ervin, along with their band, minister with a powerful sound that ushers in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They enjoy using their God-given talent in music to tear down bondages and strongholds that the enemy uses to keep people bound.

The Kelly Eldridge Band fronted by Kelly and performing original material written by her, dives head first into interesting blends of Latino blues and contemporary music. Kelly is the former music teacher and worship leader at L&L and Taylor Free Methodist (respectively). Included in this five piece professional group is protege' drummer and L&L student, Phillip Baugh.

Put 5 guys together that grew up with influences as diverse as: Aerosmith, Henry Mancini, the Four Seasons, Styx, the Beatles, Monty Python, Barbershop, B.J. Thomas, Boston, Saturday Night Live, Glen Miller, Journey, Doo Wop, Hank Williams, Stevie Ray Vaughn, (and more recently Third Day, Veggie Tales, Wes King and Petra); throw in some Marshall amplifiers, drums, and a whole bunch of other instruments; put God right smack dab in the center, and you've got Heaven Sown!!

Simon Frost - extraordinary guitarist and former (founding) member of Kindred Nation
