A kind soul in HGB's spinner's group gave me 2 ounces of handpainted roving to play with. I bought 2 ounces each of merino top in turqouise and blue to go with it, then spun it all up on my small drop spindle. Plied it on my large drop spindle and wound up with 300 yards of sock yarn. I can't wait to see how it knits up!

I wove these handspun singles into a shawl over the winter. I forgot to take a picture of the yarn before I did that, so these are the thrums. Better late than never!
