
Another small one that only took a few days. I've not knitted one like it before, it was a weird-looking cone before blocking. I really wasn't sure it would lie flat, but pins, water and starch did the trick! Size 2 needles and size 20 thread. 
This one got nicknamed Holey Moley by the group who did it as a KAL. Size 10 colonial blue cotton, size 2 needles, 14.5" across. 
This is Niebling's snowdrop doily. I found the pattern in the March 2003 issue of Anna. It is knitted in size 30 cebelia on 000 needles. 
This is a washcloth I knitted for Mary in Alaska. Kinda plain, but shows off the variegated yarn nicely. I have a weakness for garter lace edging. In this case it seems to enhance the swirling effect. Sugar and Cream cotton yarn, size 4 needles. about 9" across unblocked. 2005 |
