I made this vest for my friend Kathi's birthday. It is my second piece of art-to-wear.

I learned this fabric origami technique from Rami Kim. She gave a trunk show and workshop for the Denver ASG chapter last spring. If you ever get a chance to learn from her, do it! She is an awesome artist and a wonderful teacher.

I started with the striped fabric (a shirt on the 99 cent rack at the local thrift store).
