
Marion Bolson designed these patches for our doll club. I turned mine into a doll purse to wear at meetings and shows. The back of the badge is a pocket to keep ID and cash in, so I won't need to carry a handbag. 2003.

The Un-Namer, cloth doll with partial armature from a pattern by Margaret Murphy. Private collection, 2003. "The Un-Namer takes your name away, and all the labels you use to describe yourself, in exchange for a brief but thorough look into the depths of your naked soul." I literally woke up in the middle of the night, wrote that down, and went back to sleep. Wonder what I had been dreaming about...
