Computerized records are password protected and kept separate from other databanks. We are reliable and efficient. My goal is to immediately improve your cash flow by offering an array of Services that we will use to customize a program that will meet the needs of your practice. Our service include: Electronic and Paper Claims Filing We process claims electronically for all carriers that currently accept electronic submission. Paper Claims are submitted for providers who do not accept electronic submission or require SOAP notes.. We follow up on all unpaid claims. (See Insurance follow up and appeals) Secondary Carrier Billing We automatically process Secondary Carrier claims upon receipt of the Primary Carrier EOB. Maintain Accurate and Up To Date Accounts Receivable Once we receive a copy of the EOB or verification of a patient payment, we immediately post the payment to the patients account. Insurance Follow up and Appeals We follow up via telephone (or letter if necessary) on all claims that have gone unpaid beyond 30 days. If an unpaid or underpaid claim requires an appeal we will process all of the required paperwork and handle all necessary follow up. Patient Statements and Soft Collections This service includes processing and mailing all patient statements. We also provide soft collections consisting of letters and telephone calls if necessary. Insurance Verification When a new patient calls for an appointment, the person scheduling the appointment will ask the patient a few simple questions and fill out a worksheet that our office will provide. We will then contact the insurance company and verify benefits. Detailed Reports We provide reports detailing billing transactions on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule. Davenport Medical Business is also capable of customizing reports if necessary. Patient Reminder Calls We will request a copy of your patient schedule a week in advance and use that information to call the patients the day before their scheduled appoint to verify the appointment date and time. If they are unable to keep their appointment, we will immediately contact your office.
