Here is audition, internship and employmnent information for our company and links to other area auditions. - Theatre Marketing Internship Available - We are seeking an individual to establish and maintain our presence in community calendars. To develop a media and promotions list/data base for print, electronic and broadcast. And as assistance in developing marketing venues to target parents with young children, pre-school and elementary teachers and day care instructors. This person will be responsible for developing and distributing press releases and publicity articles on the company's productions and company members.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED INCLUDE:
* Must have computer and internet access available.
* Computer skills and knowledge of internet, email and web pages are required. Specific knowledge of 'Word' and Data base programs are preferred.
* Refined communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work with little or no supervision is a must
WORK LOCATION
A flexible work schedule and location are offered. We are willing to have this individual work primarily from their residence or a Milwaukee Campus dorm.
This position offers a communications student the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge of the entertainment industry. The work schedule is flexible and requires approximately 12 to 15 hours a weeks. Some weeks may require more than 15 hours while others may be less.
Compensation is based upon qualifications, skills and abilities. The position is available through the end of April 2008. Application deadline is September 5th, 2007
