If you are interested in adopting or fostering a Boxer please send us an e-mail with your name, address and phone number. We will contact you for more information and we will schedule a home visit from one of our volunteers. It is important to us to get to know you and your family so we can make the right match.
Please note: We do not have a "facility" where you can come and visit our Boxers. These dogs are kept in our volunteers homes all over the central Iowa area. We all work and have families too. It might take a few days to arrange a visit. Please be patient.
Rescue Boxers are not free. Our volunteers spend money and time getting them healthy and happy. Donations may range from $200. to $300. depending on the costs incurred with each Boxer. Foster a Boxer The number of Boxers we save depends on the number of volunteers willing to bring boxers into their homes. Becoming an evaluation home takes dedication, love and a committment to helping a boxer be the best dog that it can be. This may include crate training, teaching basic commands and nurturing the dog so that it becomes more adoptable. We can never say in advance how long you might have a foster Boxer in your home. It depends on the needs of the particular dog and the availibility of adoptive homes. What we can say is that is a very rewarding way to help this wonderful breed. Please help today! |
