Boxers who need homes can range from puppies to oldsters. The average age is around 1 to 1 1/2. Like teenage humans, Boxers of that age can be a trial and are often given up. It takes time and effort to bring any living creature to maturity. Once Boxer and their owners make it to the age of 2 or 2 1/2 they are usually separated only by extreme circumstance. Ordinarily this is the page we would use to show pictures of the Boxers who are available through rescue. We have decided to discontinue this practice. Adopters should choose pets according to temperament and level of experience required. They should not make a choice based on looks. It is our policy to offer potential adopters the Boxer that best exemplifies the "ideal" Boxer for their particular situation. If that dog does not meet their approval then we will offer them another. At no time will potential adopters be allowed to meet multiple dogs. They will not be allowed to pick one like one would pick a pair of shoes. These are living creatures who have specific needs and wants and abilities. |
