Aslan's How
A Christian Outlook

"Though the Witch knew the Deep Magic, there is a magic deeper still which she did not know. Her knowledge goes back only to the dawn of time. But if she could have looked a little further back, she would have read there a different incantation. She would have known that when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."

Welcome to the Christian Outlook link! I'm glad you chose to visit it. As a christian, C.S. Lewis included a biblical base to his books, in which Aslan reprents our christian Jesus. In 'The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe' what Aslan did for Edmund is very much like what Jesus did for the whole world; Aslan did it for one, but Jesus did it for everyone including you and me. If you'd like more information about what the christian aspects of the Chronicles of Narnia are, contact me at narnianqueen@gmail.com and include your email address. I'll see what I can do and send it back to you. You can learn more about the Christian Outlook at www.digthefig.com
or you can look up the life of Jesus in the New Testament of the Bible. Enjoy this link!

*The Stone Table was broken by a great crack that ran down it from end to end..."
"What does it mean? More magic?"
"Yes!" said a great voice behind their backs. "It is more magic." They looked around. There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before and shaking his mane stood Aslan himself*

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
