December 14, 2002 
Every year Mommy's work has a special breakfast. They invite Santa Claus and offer him a space available seat on the airplane. However, Santa prefers his own mode of transportaton ~ reindeer!
Here Comes Santa Claus 
My family showed up for the breakfast at the same time as Santa Claus. He scooped me up in his arms and carried me into the room shouting, "Merry Christmas!" On his way to the platform, he stopped and picked up this little girl too. Everyone was so excited to see him and we felt really lucky to be in his arms for the big arrival.
Kris and Daddy 
Kris had a fantastic time at this breakfast. He was in awe over all the beautiful Christmas decorations. I think his favorite part of the whole thing was the food. You can tell by the look on his face here, that he doesn't think anyone is better than his Daddy. Not even Santa Claus!
Loading Up At The Buffet 
Kris and Daddy stocked up at the buffet. Kris is nibbling on his Froot Loops while he and Daddy pose infront of this reindeer decoration. Kris is wearing his Christmas bib so he doesn't get his new little shirt all dirty.
Enjoying Breakfast 
The breakfast buffet had a variety of things to eat ~ eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage, waffles, etc. However, Kris and I chose to have only cold cereal. Kids will be kids!
I Love Butter! 
I love to eat just plain cold butter all by itself. I also enjoy opening up and eating out of the little packages of jam. Here I am making a meal out of butter and jelly. Yum!
Separation Anxiety 
Look at how tightly I am clinging to my Mommy's leg. You'd think I was scared, but I just love to hold on to my Mommy. When we were waiting in line to see Santa Claus, I ran up to grab Mommy's leg really tightly. The problem was it was someone else's Mommy! The lady just laughed and thought it was cute. I guess from down at my level all legs look alike!
It's Snowing! 
There was a special machine on stage that shot millions of tiny pieces of paper into the air. It made it look like it was snowing. Dollar bills were also mixed in with the paper snow but unfortunately we didn't get our hands on any of it!
Picking Up The Pieces 
Kris had a great time picking all the tiny pieces of paper up from the carpet. Too bad he doesn't like to clean up like that at home. He's usually the one creating the mess!
Sourpuss and Santa 
I sure hope Santa didn't get a glimpse of the surly look on Kris' face. Cheer up, Kris! You'll find out soon just how wonderful Sana Claus really is. Wait until you see all your gifts on Christmas day.
Santa's Buddy 
I spent a lot of time on Santa's lap telling him about all the toys I would like to have for Christmas. I wonder if he knows that I have been a really good boy this year. (Well, most of the time.) I hope he remembers that I would like to have the McDonald's Drive-Thru Playset.
Kris Is Not Amused 
For some reason, Kris does not like to sit on Santa's lap. I'm sure he'll change his tune when he gets older. I'm cracking up because I think Kris' adverse reaction to Santa is hilarious.
Which One Should I Choose? 
Decisions, decisions, which toy should I pick? Santa had several cute little gifts for all the kids at the party. Mommy knows the lady who plans this event and she thinks that she does a fantastic job. Thanks Cathy for making Christmas so much fun for all the employees and their families.
Kris Wants The Frog 
After visiting with Santa and telling him our wish list, we each got to choose a bean bag animal. Kris chose a funny looking frog with a Santa cap on his head.
Blowing Bubbles 
Santa gave us some little bottles of bubbles. I picked out one with a reindeer on top. I'm blowing my bubbles in front of this beautifully decorated tree.
Little Sleepyhead 
Having breakfast with Santa Claus really tired out little Kris. Good thing he's taking a nap in the car because next on our agenda is a birthday party for my friend Dillon. December sure is a very busy fun-filled time of year!
