I've been playing the piano and singing for 23 years...since I was 5. I have focused on jazz piano playing for the past 12 years. My piano influences are many, from Art Tatum to McCoy Tyner. My singing influences include Sarah Vaughn, Stevie Wonder, and Bonnie Raitt. I can play and sing jazz, rock and R&B, though most of my playing is in the jazz genre.

I attended Brigham Young University from 1995 through 1998 where I met my handsome husband, John. Two years later, our first son, Miles was born. We lived in New York City for two years while John taught middle school in the South Bronx and I did my best to be a mom and keep up with my practicing. It was amazing to live in that city. I'll always be thankful for the musical experiences I had there. My last New York experience was the birth of my daughter, Ella. Eight weeks after she was born, we packed up and moved to Los Angeles where John attended UCLA Law School.

In April of 2003, our third son, Charlie was born. I've got the greatest family ever! In 2004, we relocated to Pomona, CA where we are currently residing. John is building his practice, and I am a mom by day, and a jazzer by night. In December of 2005, I released my first album, "Up Til Now." Click on the "Recordings" link if you'd like to order!
