Twist-On Reed Protector

a-7comingupforadrink.gif

Our New Twist-On Reed Protector is made of two concentric pieces. In other words, the holes are drilled off center. When both pieces are "zeroed" the holes in the two parts align. Hold the bulb of your chanter and bottom section of the reed protector with one hand. and simply twist the top part of the reed protector with the other hand. That causes the holes in both parts to go out of alignment, causing it to squeeze your chanter tenon.

Caution!!!It is possible to overtighten.

A little twist is all you need!!!

Try 1/4 turn at first. If that's not enough, try turning it again in small amounts.
