SOCIAL STUDIES:
Our unit for Egypt is almost over and we will have a final exam on December 16th, please review all of the quizes and vocabulary that we have had so far with your child so that they will be prepared.
Our Egyptian lunch is scheduled for December 16th at 12:00. If you and your child would like to make a dish for this event you can either get a recipe from me or go online to find one.(maybe you already have one)
All Egyptian assignments and extra credit are due by December 15th.

MATH:
We are nearing the end of the division unit. Students are working hard to understand long division and we will hopefully be able to wrap up this outcome before our Winter Break.
I have introduced them to a new dice game using 4 dice and making 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication problems, have them share this with you at home. |

Our last day of school before the Winter Break is December 17th and we will return to school on Jan. 3rd. If you have any ideas for an afternoon class party please get in touch with me so that we can work out the details.
We will discuss a gift exchange in the room and students will bring home the details. |
