Rules Continued

Lunchroom

1. Bring recess clothing & playground equipment to the cafeteria.
2. Talk in quiet voices; no shouting.
3. Keep hands & feet to yourself.
4. No throwing food or other objects.
5. Raise your hand for assistance.
6. Ready to leave?
A. Clean your space.
B. Raise hand to be dismissed.
C. Put your lunchbox in your class hall box.
D. Go directly to the playgound.
7. No food is to be taken out of the cafeteria.

GENERAL SCHOOL RULES
1. Be respectful of the rights of others; Do not infringe upon the safety of others. Teachers have a right to teach & students have a right to learn.
2. Follow directions of adults (Principals, Teachers, Custodians, Noon Hour Supervisers, & Secretaries), and Student Safety Patrols.
3. Candy may not be consumed during school or at recess except for special occasions (approved by a teacher), or as a snack at lunch.
4. The use of tobacco, drugs, or alcohol is not allowed.
5. Do not bring weapons or use objects as weapons, do not bring toy weapons. No lasers.
6. Be on time & attend school daily unless illness or an emergency arises.
7. Use appropriate language. No threatening words or gestures.
8. All outside play activities should take place outside the painted red/pink line (away from windows).
9. No hats should be worn in the building except for specisl days.

EQUIPMENT RULES
Playground balls & equipment: Appropriate balls & equipment allowed only in designated areas- n hard balls allowed.
Swings: Only one person on swing at a time; no twisting or running under or swinging sideways.
Slide: Be seated, face forward, one at a time. no walking up the slide or walking on the outside edges.
Monkey/Parallel Bars: No pulling students off or standing on top of the bars.
Blacktop: stay on blacktop area when muddy conditions exist. Boots are required in order to leave blacktop when there is snow on the ground.
Snow/Ice: No snowballs No climbing or sliding
Red/Pink line: Play outside this line (away from windows)
Castle: No climbing over walls or sitting on the posts

Playground
1. Show respect to supervisers & students.
2. Enter the building quietly & orderly when the bell rings.
3. Do not leave the playground.
4. Once on the playground, (before school & recess) you must have permission to enter the building.
5. Use appropriate language. No threatening words or gestures.
6. All games should be played away from the playground equipment.
7. Equipment brought from home must be used in a safe manner & only with teacher's approval.
8. No fighting, tackling, or pushing games, nor games that show the appearance of fighting.
9. Throw only playground balls, basketballs, etc., & not stones, snowballs, sticks, or woodchips.
10. No candy or food allowed on the playground.
11. Scooters & bikes must be walked on school grounds & roller blades must be removed when you arrive in the morning.
