Our church was founded in 1960 by a group of Episcopalians who resided in Readfield. At that time the nearest church was located in Augusta - a distance of ten or fifteen miles. For the first 10 years the church was located in Winthrop in the office building of the Carlton Woolen Mill. In the early 70's it was moved to Readfield where an old carriage house next to the Readfield Union Meeting House was coverted to our use. We remain in that location today. Although we are a very small rural church we maintain a strong faith and play an active role in the surrounding communities.

We invite you to become a part of the church today and a piece of its history tomorrow.
