Minutes of Mens Club Meeting
Tuesday, January 14, 2003

Minutes of the meeting on January 14, 2002

Attending: Bob Peterson, President; Bob Folsom, Secretary/Treasurer: Gerry Hartz, Vice president; Bill Sayres, Kevin Elwell, Ken Freye, Henri Silz, , Carl Smith, Buzz Butler, and Kevin Elwell.

The Minutes of the last meeting and the Treasurers report were accepted.

Business meeting:

1. The matter of pledging an amount of money to the general fund to help pay for a third time priest was removed from the table. An amount of $1,000. Was voted to be donated to the general fund to be used for any purpose that the Bishops Committee deems appropriate.

2. The matter of a new fund raiser was removed from the table and shelved again after it was suggested that we put on our thinking caps until the next meeting.

3. Future programs; February - Ken Freye will get a Kents Hill Student. Bill Sayres will try to get Stan Moody for March 11.

4. There was no speaker for the evening but abundant fellowship was enjoyed before, during, and after the excellent meal of Swedish meatballs, salad, and cake provided by hosts Kevin and Buzz.

Next meeting will be on February 11 - John Miller and Gerry Hartz will be dinner hosts.

Please also note the night for the Ladies Guild to make Christmas baskets for
the fair has been changed to Monday, December 1st. We will meet at 5:30 and
get right to work.

St. Andrew's Women's Guild Minutes
Tuesday, March 25, 2003


We met at 5:30 and then enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Heidi. Nine
members were present.

Secretary/Treasurer Report
Gail reported that the current value of the CD is $11,334.38, and the
checkbook balance is $826.49.

Sherry moved, Ardi seconded to accept the report as presented. Passed
unanimously.

Old Business
We reviewed the following dates of future events:

May 3 Public Italian Dinner
May 13 Next meeting, the men are invited, the speaker will be on the
Appalachian Trail, and we will have light refreshments only for this meeting.
May 24 Bake Sale at Mr. Market in conjunction with the Men's Club raffle
August 9 Summer Fair

New Business
Sherry moved, Heidi seconded to send $100 to the Bishop's Appeal for
Millinocket. Passed unanimously.
Heidi suggested a speaker for a future meeting from the Kerr House (Liz Beal).

Members signed up for items to bring for the reception on April 6th for Jean
Austin. If you were not present please see Anne for items that are still
needed.


Our speaker for tonight's meeting was Sherry Rogers.

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.


Note: there will be NO April meeting. The next meeting is May 13th.
