We met at 5:00 for a social time and then had a short business meeting before
our delicious dinner provided by Betty and Anne.

Treasurer's Report
Gail reported that the checking account balance is $4478.58, and the CD is
$8717.
Betty made a motion to accept the report, Sherrie seconded, carried
unanimously.

Secretaries Report
We have received Thank You notes from the Library, Millie, and NYC Salvation
Army.
Edna made a motion to accept the minutes of the October meeting as sent,
seconded by Betty, carried unanimously.

Old Business
Barbara has been working on setting up a retreat for the Guild and spoke to
Kay Gill about doing this at the Living Waters Spiritual Center. We talked
about a theme of possibly "Carving out time for Spiritual Growth," and
discussed a possible date of April 13th.
Edna made a motion, seconded by Elaine that the cost of the retreat be taken
from our treasury, and that we empower Barbara to make the arrangements.
Motion carried unanimously.

New Business
There will be no February meeting because we will attend the Men's Club
meeting on the 12th.

We discussed the election of new officers. Edna made a motion, seconded by
Betty that we consider the group as a whole for the nominating committee to
elect officers in March. The motion carried unanimously.

Our next meeting will be held on March 17th, immediately following the church
service. The purpose of the meeting will be to elect new officers.

We discussed that we would like to have a church supper for a fund raiser in
May. Elaine will coordinate the efforts.

We then broke from our meeting and enjoyed dinner and a great presentation
after dinner by Kate Faragher of The Family Violence Project.

Debbie made a motion, seconded by Barbara to donate $2000 to the Family
Violence Project. The motion carried unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.

Respectfully submitted,
Gail Butler
