Kudos to Linda Turner - President of the Post 6022 Ladies Auxiliary - for her outstanding job in decorating the Post entries in the 2009 Tuscaloosa Christmas Parade. Post 6022 and Ladies Auxiliary won 3rd place in decorated vehicles in the event.

Community Service

Comrade David Douglas is among those volunteers that takes patients at the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa out to lunch and ice cream. He also assists in the Bingo games for patients as well.

Loni Brown is another volunteer for the Post that gives of her time to the Red Cross and the FOCUS on Senior Citizens Center.

Ingrid Bender is a member of the Post 6022 Ladies Auxiliary and volunteers at the Tuscaloosa VA Mecical Center to help with the veterans monthly Cake and Ice Cream Party Bingo games and assists at the annual Christmas Party for the patients..
