Roy Rogers. In 1947 Roy threw the first ball down lane 1, and of coarse it was a strike. Of course Dale Evans was there and Russ Hayden, Cactus Cate.
Pioneer Bowl used pin boys until 1961 , when they were replaced by the first automatic pinsetters made by Brunswick that are still here today.These are the oldest, longest working wooden lanes in the United States.
