1Corin. 16:2a Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him...

Heb 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there (in heaven) He (Jesus) receiveth them (those tithes), of whom it is witnessed that he (Jesus) liveth.

2Corin. 9:7 Every man (of us) according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

1Corin. 9:11,13,14 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal (earthly) things? ...Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? (this is speaking of the ministry support system) Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

1Thess. 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour (spiritual labor in serving) among you, and are over you (as watchmen for your soul) in the Lord, and admonish you...

Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word (for your souls).

1Tim. 5:17,18 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour (receiving financial support), especially they who labour in the word and doctrine (in instructing your development). For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward (support).
