Contrasting Church Ministry Today!
Some of the new type churches today follow a trend of ministering only to prospect believers, so they set the atmosphere to appeal to catching fish in their net, centering themselves within that specific minister agenda.
We Participate In Believer's Meetings
In contrast "Believer's Meetings" are set up for an entirely different purpose. Believer's Meetings are a mode and spiritual atmosphere which ministers directly to the needs of Christians, speaking to growth and ministering impartation of gifts, even in the prophetic. As His sheep we need to eat this grass and drink this Living Waters and flow with that to grow in the Lord! Today the church as a whole faces loosing what is called the "Believer's Meeting," and unless we make room for "Believer Meetings" again in the church, it will become weak, and without exploits. We believe that trend is becoming established as the "Norm" and its level is being modeled and promoted by many churches as the current push to success.
LWF centralizes itself within the "Believer's Meeting" mode and desires to follow the Head of the church.. the Holy Spirit's leading at all times, as we extend our outreach.

LWF does regular ministry in a simple open ended worship manner. Here we hope you will find an entrance into the spirituality that changed the world. Today's worship focus has become a powerful force shaping a new form of spiritual expression.
Jesus is leading us away to be conformed to His image. We have taken much inspiration historically from the past saints and their dedication to pursue the Spirit and intimacy with God, by a simpler form of devotion. Our philosophy of ministry is not a programmatic approach but rather a presence of God based approach. For us it is more about His presence instead of the fulfilling of the program based model!
LIVING WATERS FELLOWSHIP has coined the statement among believers that we believe, "The Church Is The People Not The Steeple!" Many times when this is inverted in emphasis the upward, inward, and outward spiritual movement of individuals becomes stifled and the original vision and purpose of the church is capped off from its fulfillment.
THE CRADLE - DRAWING NURTURING INSPIRATION
Most probably don't really think of a fellowship as a spiritual cradle which provides a health environment for the development of the people of God. Yes, this is a concept of protection. Both Moses and Jesus were attacked while they were in their infancy, however God's presence protected them to their appointed destiny. Spiritual maturity is essential first the Child, then the Youth, then the Adult. Our spiritual surrounding plays a vital role in being spiritually fulfilled, becoming mature. LWF focuses on building protection around the individual by prayer, doctrine, spiritual development, and servanthood.
OUR EMPHASIS UPON THE ORGANISM (SPIRITUAL GROWTH)
We believe that the organism (the body of believers) of the church should be more emphasized than the institution (see Rev.3:20). So we emphasize group meetings where individuals can be involved in doing ministry and grow in their giftings.
It is a old concept renewed, an ancient trend made progressive. We pray this dedication will lead you to a deeper experience of intimacy like the past saints enjoyed. We are dedicated to the Spirit here at LIVING WATERS FELLOWSHIP and desire to lead souls into this depths of intimacy with our Lord. We have an a Johannine focus throughout our base.
CENTRAL CORE
LWF differs from other modern church conditions in that we teach our fellowship to recognize & practice "The Values of Chivalry"... namely respect for an "Ancient Faith, Bravery, Loyalty, Honor, Truth, Purity and Charity." All of these create the base from which true fellowship can fully be known and experienced.
WALKING IN BOTH WORLDS SUCCESSFULLY
Our relationships here on earth reflects together the physical and spiritual realm. Simultaneously, we are plunged into a world with God's presence, His hosts at work and a fallen world and darkness. It therefore becomes needful to keep in perspective of a vertical relationship with God. Doing so, we experience His spiritual plumb line aligning and synchronizing Spirit with us in this life. The ground we stand upon or path we are currently on is not always familiar, we need His illumination and insight. We have a horizontal relationship, namely a relationship with fallen mankind in this world, the same without connection with God, experiencing pain, sorrow, and inflictions, they know not where it comes from, but cry out all the same for release from their personal prisons. The intricates of the spiritual realm are around us each and everyday, so to have "authority over the powers of evil" (in this world) we must live a life of abiding connectedness, living in His presence Prayerfully, be astute to His guidance Meditatively, and hedge ourselves in with His protection round about us Spiritually, and exercising exploits in His name Powerfully. We call this "Kingdom Advancement." The Apostles endorsed this and called it Christianity - "THE WAY," everyday spiritual living... walking successfully in both worlds. It is LWF's endeavor together here to mentor a people and raise up mentors who will lead toward this spiritual success.
LWF - A CRUCIFORM REFORMATION FELLOWSHIP
Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be (((formed))) in you.
Cruciform means Cross shaped... As the people of God we
must not only profess the claims of being the people of God but become the expression of Christ to the world.
The Cruciform Reformation is the concept of the IMAGO DEI... (Gen.1:23 His image and likeness)"the restored stamp of God upon us and is us," the recapturing of the restored image of Christ incarnate, living His live through us as Christians in this world. In order to live in this way (Imitating Christ) we are in need to become reshaped so that our expression can match our profession of faith. This is why it is essential for Christians to possess an on going incarnation experience...
Jesus tells us to "Take up our Cross (to become Cruciformed) and follow Him." This is our mission as Christian in this world.
Eph. 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
We aim as a fellowship to become the reshaped ones and live the Christian life so that the world may see the expression of Christ in us and through us and glorify God the Father! We desire to become the very individually and corporately expression, being the habitation of God through His Holy Spirit.
The Apostle Paul tells us in (Rom.12:1,2) that to live "Cruciformed" is to live crucified sacrificial lives... "Living Sacrifices unto God." We do this through daily dedication and consecration, presenting our selves unto God which is our service. It is there that Christ meets us and begins to live through us. Paraphrasing Paul... "Instead of being molded to this fallen world become shaped to live above it (by renewing our minds and building our spirit-man so we may imitated Christ in our daily walk), so be transformed in nature (nature of Christ by His Spirit), able to make the call to what the will of God is, namely what is good and acceptable, to Him and perfect through the wisdom of Him.
OUR EMPHASIS ON BECOMING SOUL FRIENDS "CONNECTEDNESS"
Our fellowship revolves around some key spiritual strengths. One is that each member must chose a "soul friend" upon entering our fellowship and become a regular member. A soul friend is someone who becomes a 'special heart' which is open to us, someone who we can trust and come and be accountable unto, share our inner heart with, someone who has a listening ear, an understanding heart and will pray for us, someone who has our best interest in mind, someone who serves to be a mentor to our mind and heart where we can draw wisdom, they are in service directly to us. Soul Friends are 'Kindred Spirits' who joined in Spirit service of each other through closeness and service together enriching His body. Our fellowship revolves primarily by this circle called "Soul Friends."
In the book "Pilgrims Progress" it describes the soul friend as a "fellow traveler" on the true path," or someone to journey along with, receiving encouragement from, becoming spiritually strengthened, or drawing mentor-ship, direction, guidance from them. Soul work demands the highest commitments and willingness based upon being genuine and honest full of integrity. The soul friend makes the journey with us and thus we invite them to take the road with us, following in step, for they point the way in spiritual direction. They are in fact guides to us... who support with constructive words, and if our heart needs a confessor they are confidential holding us in there prayers before God.
The formation of soul friends is seen as a factor throughout the whole theme of Christianity (check your Bible "Jesus sent them by twos - a journey or adventure together")...This teaches us to become sacrificial servants, developing a City of Refuse for the weak and needy, making up the over-all vision of establishing the Colony of Heaven here on earth.
OUR EMPHASIS ON THE MINISTRY TEAMS
One thing that the starfish knows is that even though it has five legs to stand on (ministry giftings) there takes a co-operation in order to move forward and gain ground. We are in our beginnings of developing ministry teams throughout the regional area. The starfish model teaches us that we need as many legs reaching out as far as possible all combined in one missional focus.
LEADERS WHO CAN ACTUALLY DEMONSTRATE WHAT THEY TEACH
Oft times we find teachers or preachers which can train you in a knowledge of something intellectually but can not demonstrate the experiential workings of what they have taught so that people may catch the actual manifestation side in the Spirit. It is not enough to just have a teaching in theory for students. The way Jesus taught His disciples was to teach, train, demonstrate, and deploy them to do the same exploits as He did. The same type training is available today. Nicodemus was scolded by Jesus saying, "Are you a teacher of Israel and don't know these things?" Yet, the Master then teaches us by saying, "We teach what we know (speaking of our origins and revelatory & experiential exposures)." It is here that we must learn a valuable lesson. If we are going to teach people on healing the sick and casting out demons, getting people Baptized in the Holy Spirit, we need to go on and demonstrate the same to them so they get it! Our group leaders come under our training becoming qualified before taking on the role of trainer. We believe that is what people really desire - "qualified spiritual trainers."
SEARCHING FOR A SHEPHERD
Today, people are not looking for leaders as much as they are looking for faithful shepherds. Because church trends have been what they are, the people are looking for legitimate Pastor (Under-Shepherds) that have a direct ministry tending the flock and bestowing spiritual care toward them. According to the New Testament the Pastor Shepherd is to be in direct contact with their ministry group in order to properly care for the flock of God. This is our aim.
BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH
The earth is pulsating with the energies which the eternal created. Creation is a means of His Grace to us. The invisible things are disclosed through the creation which we see visible to us (Romans 1). The examples of His divine power are clearly seen and shown to us in numerous examples of the Spirit truths, and explanations of the spirit realm. Each time we spend the time in the outdoors we see His vastness and depth, and are reminded of these spiritual truths. Our orientation and reflection upon our surroundings is important to us. Nature waits for the "sons of God" to appear. LWF believes in the importance of keeping a perspective between heaven and earth. Just as some have a view which divides between the sacred and secular...we see God as infinitely involved by His Spirit well beyond what many would consider the great divide, knowing that each day God is at work in His creation.
The invisible world is the primary world and having connection to it brings an intimacy with the infinite. Without becoming in tune with the infinite how can we ever play the song in our heart here on earth? Jesus volunteered to be hung between heaven and earth as a demonstration of His servanthood. Just as Jesus did the will of the Father,
our service here on earth is defined by our connection to heaven. Christian service and servanthood provides as a conduit between both realms in seeing God's will done here on earth (as in heaven so in earth). We believe God is in our hands at work, our creativeness, and our service to mankind demonstrating His touch to this fallen world, showing His love, grace, and truth. We believe we ought to become the incarnation of His word and have Him move through us by His Spirit becoming useful toward His purposes on earth. Faith without works is dead!
PERSONAL AWAKENING, SOUL LIBERTY, AND DIVINE ADHERENCE
LWF cherishes God's grace and soul liberty which is defined as the freedom of conscience in which mankind is given the space to develop himself an become a faithful adherent with God and His divine communicated word (the Holy Bible). People who adhere without understanding normally become merely religious, but people who become digestors and understanders of the divine mind become spiritual giants. We believe respectfully all should become disciples (pupils) who know there subject, namely God, thoroughly by His word and through His Spirit. Meditation is a key to unlock understanding to us. Since the divine mind has already communicated His Wisdom and Understanding, this communication falls into two categories, "revelation and declaration" which became recorded. God sends His Grace unto us by reason of His word. Where there is Truth there is Grace given. Undiscovered Truth is like a treasure that waits to enrich us if we could find it. God extends to us grace for this per-suite in first bringing to our awareness of His light through divine creation, and then His divine word. Some come to discover the light and truth before others due to the darkness of the fallen human heart and mind. When the light is discovered the journey of discovery for revelation is divinely guided, and as long as one maintains a healthy hunger to know and experience the author of that truth there is more grace given (a grace for personal development, adherence, and transformation). LWF does not disfellowships anyone who is yoked with Christ under this tutorage. Opinions and speculations we bare patiently and prayerfully until they become seasoned and mature in the things of God. With all spiritual development comes guardianship and oversight to guarantee the well being of the person's soul. So, for a guardianship that ensures the spiritual well being of the person's soul... there is added correction to the right path through God's word. If this fails, and God's word seems to be unadhered to, then after the period of grace expires, then disfellowship from the community of believers in any Christian group or church could be the unpleasant outcome according to God's written word.
SPIRITUAL HERITAGE "HISTORICALLY CENTERED"
A rich Christian heritage has lead us into His Spirit. God has been stirring the depths of our hearts through simple open ended worship. We have experienced our feet having danced freely to a joyous new sound that has swept the world over. It is more than just a sound, it was the Spirit renewing and reviving us back to our "First Love." When the Lord did this, He also gave us a new inspiration and depth from our Historic Christian heritage. Many years ago the seed was planted yet now after the ships have left the island and arrived in these new shores the tree has grown up to bare much spiritual fruit. We are a ministry that has been birthed in His light and truth. We are seeing the difference of a Christianity which places it priorities in a whole new direction, that of new inspiration and depths. We draw on our rich heritage and the spiritual motifs of this heritage to gain insight and encouragement.
EVIDENCE OF GOD AT WORK IN OUR LIVES
God is not far away, He is active in our lives even when we are thinking we don't see Him immediately, He is always there and in our midst among us. LWF believes that God is both transcendent "moving among us" and immanence "remaining within and upon us" as in divine presence. We believe that as believers we can create an atmosphere which is conducive for His presence to work among us and to remain among us, both dwelling upon and within. We understand that worship and prayer are the catalysts that open these spiritual portals connecting us to God, that is why we emphasize the experience. The Bible calls this energy simply "His anointing." This anointing is the person of the Holy Spirit which is divine imparted and is given as our enabler.
HEALER OF OUR SOUL
Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted. His reach into our soul by His Spirit can not be matched by any human means. Our Lord has the ability to reach into our person and touch the brokenness spirit and release healing into our very core. We believe at LWF that Jesus is a healing Lord and that His salvation is triune as is His nature. Because of this we believe that salvation is holistic... unto us, touching us spirit, soul (in our mind, emotions, and will) and in our body. We believe in God's recreative abilities... to restore and regenerate us who are submitted under His anointing. The experience of soaking in the Lord is like no other bring about a peace that passes all understanding and a depth which many have yet to experience. We teach meditation, contemplation, and reflection to the LWF fellowship in order for each to gain the spiritual benefits of health and healing in their personal lives.
OUR PROPHETIC VISION & INSPIRATION
The prayer ministry of waiting upon the Lord has launched our ministry into the Lord's Vision for taking His Gospel Witness which is the "Revealing The Hidden Man Of The Gospel" (2 Cor.4:1-5) into this fallen world, and into a last days church!(Rev.3:20) It is by prayer that we are being launched forward. It is through prayer that we are receiving His movement both individually and corporately.
UTTERANCE FROM ALIGNMENT PERSPECTIVE
We seek to align ourselves more Biblically. Paying careful attention to the statement in Matthew 4:4 "every word" concept, we have seen the result of transition and fresh revelation. Our perspective is to establish sound foundations through "adding these adjustments and alignments" becoming closer to God, solid in the New Testament faith, and spiritually stronger as believers.

GRACIOUS SPIRITUAL GIFTS
LWF is a DEEPLY CHARISMATIC Fellowship being for the operations of the grace giftings... We maintain an open forum to this end... so that the Holy Spirit may lead in His concerts of giftings. We are not shy and ashamed of the workings of God's Spirit. I fact we are not at all timid but bold in our witnesses when the Spirit is moving. We take advantage of each time the Holy Spirit moves among us because there is a reason why He has come and a work He expects to do. Reverence and sensitivity to His leading is key... and the exploits that come about "We give Him all the praise and glory for!" Beyond just our fellowship we also recognize that His grace giftings are at work in our everyday lives, so we encourage those of LWF to move in this way among those who God has chosen to demonstrate Himself toward.
