LWMORG - LIVING WATERS MINISTRIES

Welcome to LWMORG!

This is our official online "Ministry Outreach" / Fellowship site.
We are covenanted together in seven key ways:
*Acknowledgment of our dependency upon His Grace and Spirit in our lives.
*To Remember His Sabbath and acts of devotion and worship.
*To seek the Lord with all our hearts.
*Taking Communion or the Lord's Supper unto propitiation.
*Commitment To weekly private and corporate prayer.
*To live honest and holy lives by honoring His priorities.
*To advance His Kingdom in the earth.

Joining a dependent and committed people upon the Lord...
If you are ready to covenant with Him and us on these key points for spiritual success, we desire to welcome you into our fellowship.

Our Ministry Preference
We do ministry in a simple open ended worship style. Here we hope you will find an entrance into the spirituality that changed the world. Today's worship focus has become a powerful force shaping a new form of spiritual expression.
Jesus is leading us away to be conformed to His image. We have taken much inspiration historically from the past saints and their dedication to pursue the Spirit and intimacy with God, by a simpler form of devotion. Our philosophy of ministry is not a programmatic approach but rather a presence of God based approach. For us it is more about His presence instead of the fulfilling of the program based model!
LWMORG - has coined the statement among believers that we believe, "The Church Is The People Not The Steeple!" Many times when this is inverted in emphasis the upward, inward, and outward spiritual movement of individuals becomes stifled and the original vision and purpose of the church is capped off from its fulfillment.

OUR EMPHASIS UPON THE ORGANISM (SPIRITUAL GROWTH)
We believe that the organism (the body of believers) of the church should be more emphasized than the institution (see Rev.3:20). So we emphasize group meetings where individuals can be involved in doing ministry and grow in their giftings.
It is a old concept renewed, an ancient trend made progressive. We pray this dedication will lead you to a deeper experience of intimacy like the past saints enjoyed. We are dedicated to the Spirit here at LWMORG and desire to lead souls into this depths of intimacy with our Lord.

OUR EMPHASIS ON THE MINISTRY TEAMS
One thing that the starfish knows is that even though it has five legs to stand on (ministry giftings) there takes a co-operation in order to move forward and gain ground. We are in our beginnings of developing ministry teams throughout the regional area. The starfish model teaches us that we need as many legs reaching out as far as possible all combined in one missional focus.

LEADERS WHO CAN ACTUALLY DEMONSTRATE WHAT THEY TEACH
Oft times we find teachers or preachers which can train you in a knowledge of something intellectually but can not demonstrate the experiential workings of what they have taught so that people may catch the actual manifestation side in the Spirit. It is not enough to just have a teaching in theory for students. The way Jesus taught His disciples was to teach, train, demonstrate, and deploy them to do the same exploits as He did. The same type training is available today. Nicodemus was scolded by Jesus saying, "Are you a teacher of Israel and don't know these things?" Yet, the Master then teaches us by saying, "We teach what we know (speaking of our origins and revelatory & experiential exposures)." It is here that we must learn a valuable lesson. If we are going to teach people on healing the sick and casting out demons, getting people Baptized in the Holy Spirit, we need to go on and demonstrate the same to them so they get it! Our group leaders come under our training becoming qualified before taking on the role of trainer. We believe that is what people really desire - "qualified spiritual trainers."

SEARCHING FOR A SHEPHERD
Today, people are not looking for leaders as much as they are looking for faithful shepherds. Because church trends have been what they are, the people are looking for legitimate Pastor (Under-Shepherds) that have a direct ministry tending the flock and bestowing spiritual care toward them. According to the New Testament the Pastor Shepherd is to be in direct contact with their ministry group in order to properly care for the flock of God. This is our aim.

SPIRITUAL HERITAGE
A rich Christian heritage has lead us into His Spirit. God has been stirring the depths of our hearts through simple open ended worship. We have experienced our feet having danced freely to a joyous new sound that has swept the world over. It is more than just a sound, it was the Spirit renewing and reviving us back to our "First Love." When the Lord did this, He also gave us a new inspiration and depth from our Historic Christian heritage. Many years ago the seed was planted yet now after the ships have left the island and arrived in these new shores the tree has grown up to bare much spiritual fruit. We are a ministry that has been birthed in His light and truth. We are seeing the difference of a Christianity which places it priorities in a whole new direction, that of new inspiration and depths.

OUR PROPHETIC VISION & INSPIRATION!
The prayer ministry of waiting upon the Lord has launched our ministry into the Lord's Vision for taking His Gospel Witness which is the "Revealing The Hidden Man Of The Gospel" (2 Cor.4:1-5) into this fallen world, and into a last days church!(Rev.3:20) It is by prayer that we are being launched forward. It is through prayer that we are receiving His movement both individually and corporately.

UTTERANCE FROM ALIGNMENT PERSPECTIVE
We seek to align ourselves more Biblically. Paying careful attention to the statement in Matthew 4:4 "every word" concept, we have seen the result of transition and fresh revelation. Our perspective is to establish sound foundations through "adding these adjustments and alignments" becoming closer to God, solid in the New Testament faith, and spiritually stronger as believers.

At LWMORG Ministry - Fellowship we embody the following...
* Small Meeting Groups -"fellowship in the light"
* Simple Worship That Enjoys The Presence of God
* Hunger For The Lord
* Emphasis Upon Devotion And Intimacy With Our Lord
* Personal Holiness By His Grace
* Team Ministry Training & Group Meetings
* Prayer Both In Watchmen And Prayer Circles
* Prophetic And Spiritual Exploits
* Power Encounters (Mark 16:15-20)
* Local Ministry
* Reaching Out Beyond Into The World

SPIRITUAL DYNAMICS
As a group fellowship we emphasize...
* Motivation and functionality from our Core beliefs.
* Walking through the prayers we pray (praying occurances).
* Speaking out as we are led in sharing according to our correspondence and relationship with God and His Word.
* Understanding the fear of the Lord and our obedience to Him by applying His Scriptures to our lives.

We are not shy and ashamed of the workings of God's Spirit. I fact we are not at all timid but bold in our witnesses when the Spirit is moving. We take advantage of each time the Holy Spirit moves among us because there is a reason why He has come and a work He expects to do. Reverence and sensitivity to His leading is key... and the exploits that come about "We give Him all the praise and glory for!"

LWMORG is a ministry outreach that is moving toward a fellowship (we're still small) and God willing then into a church. We usually get calls about if we are a church so I define us in this manner "a ministry outreach or a start-up fellowship, seeking to grow a church." Working on this "ministry outreach" we are going toward a small group model fellowship, and then from there into a larger church status, understanding that our base is a shared desire and response from Christians who are committed to Kingdom advancement and a solid Spirit-filled "Full Gospel" message. The Bible clarifies this by telling us in the book of Acts that this group was in one accord, in one place, continued in Koinonia together daily, had one heart and soul, their voice was with one accord, they were united in heart, mind and spirit in ministry together.

The reason I called our groups together a "fellowship" is because of its New Testament meaning. Fellowship in the Greek is Koinonia which means the deepest, richest, strongest, most intimate, and binding type of partnership centered around a relationship with Jesus. The whole tone of our relationship together reflects the way the New Covenant has enabled us to relate to each other in our personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
In these groups you will find exhortation, mentoring, and comradeship.

Knowing that Jesus saw His own church as described in Matthew 18:20..."For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them," and He saw several people who gathered together, that they gathered around the lifting up of His Name in worship, and came together to receive from Jesus in their midst through the ability of His Holy Spirit, we will not be ashamed one bit of our small group settings, in fact they are the catechist of true spiritual growth and increase!

For those who are discontent, and do not desire small group settings here is a check list on finding a good church.
To find a good church it should fall into these categorizes.
Worship
Spiritual Dependency on the Holy Spirit
Biblical Soundness
Prayerfulness & Intercession
Fellowship in the Light (friendship & connectedness)
Equipping
Development your area of service

I know many are not finding these type churches... and what our ministry-fellowship desires is to develop and strengthen these above areas. Now when you just talk with people you find their heart. Most I talk with are looking for relationships... a connectedness which is grounded in the original purpose and vision intended for the people of God.
The true purpose and vision of any ministry is one which is shared, committed to, and worked for.

Drawing upon my above thoughts, most have the mindset that they need a leader but they are really looking for a shepherd. They are in search for the one body, Spirit, hope, faith, baptism, God, and Father of all. Ephesians 4:4-6 says "Who is over (us) and through (us) and in (us)".
Here we find 3 elements that seem to be the nucleus to unity and spiritual fellowship.
"Over Us!"
1. accountability (a yieldedness to Him)
"Though Us!"
2. continuity (a working with Him)
"In Us!"
3. connectedness (a communion with Him and His people)

When these 3 are at work, people are usually very fulfilled and find what they are looking for as members of His church. I know in fact that people are not finding these 3 elements together and that is their reason for being in a continual search for a church family that fits this New Testament model.

These 3 elements form what they inwardly hungry for and motivates them to find somewhere... a group to "fellowship in the light (1 Jn.1:7)" which satisfies the soul by spiritual edification.

The funny thing is it doesn't really take a large church to get this type of "fellowship in the light," just a small group of yielded believers.

Correspond with our ministry and learn more... Minister R. Thomas has been at it... delivering faith building, devil destroying, Word of God based messages that have been changing lives for 25 years. His revelatory gifts of rhema in the realm of the Spirit have brought forth... the word of wisdom, words of knowledge, and divine prophecy, vision and dream interpretation as he has ministered over the years.

Hebrews 12:12-13 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

Ephesians 4:15-16 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
