Finding parts for projects is always a tedious process. Fortunately, some of the parts used in the SN-Voice can br procurred at some very interesting places, like Music From Outer Space or Blacet Research - it's fun dropping by those sites, if only to press one's nose against the glass and pant..... Anyway, on this page, I've provided links to places that offer all of the parts used in the SN-Voice module - even a couple of places that still offer the SN76477, in case that slot in your parts bin is occupied by dust bunnies rather than an SN76477. Finding the Elusive TI SN76477N Arcadechips.com Arcade Chips offers both species of SN76477N - the old wide body, and the not quite as old narrow body or 'SDIP' package. The wide body is a bit more expensive than the narrow body, but, then again, the narrow chip pin spacing is not not on .01 intervals, such as protoboards (much more tiny). If you don't have a board that will accept the narrow body, you'll have to get a small adapter board to accomodate it.
Unicorn Electronics Unicorn Electronics also offers the narrow body SN76477N IC.
Blacet Research Blacet Research is one of, if not the only, Synthesizer Module Kit provider left in the world. They provide an excellent line of synth modules and kits. They also stock the small adapter board for the narrow body SN76477N.

Where To Get Your 2K Tempco
Where else? Ray Wilson's fabulous Music From Outer Space!! While you're there, you might root around through Ray's stockpile of module designs and circuit boards - there's probably something there you could add to your SN-Voice, or add your SN-Voice to..... You will find the 2K tempcos on Ray's catalog page, next to all the other cool stuff.....
LM394 Supermatched Transistor Pair Is Where? Futurlec and Digi-Key. Futurlec has the DIP version at a remarkably good price. Digi-Key has the can version at a, um, price not quite as small, but if you're going there anyway......

LF444, Where Art Thou? The LF444 is at Jameco, one of my all-time favorite supply houses.
Pots and Parts - You Gotta Have'em If Mouser changed their name to 'Resistors-R-Us', it would fit - hard to beat their resistor line-up and prices. They've got the C&K 7211 switch mentioned on this page. Nice selection of pots. Small Bear has a nice selection of things you will never find anywhere else, and some things you can find elsewhere, but they're often at better prices at Small Bear. Throw Small Bear your business - support the DIY community and get some cool stuff in the process.
