Through my work at the A.R.E. Clinic, I met many wonderful people. Many had unusual abilities, too. Read in my diary about my "reincarnation group karma" experience with that group of people in the entry called "Edgar Cayce Clinic Group Karma Experience," by clicking on the Sphinx below.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME I hold a Master's of Social Work (M.S.W.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I have an undergraduate degree (Magna Cum Laude), from the same university, with a double major in Communications and Community Mental Health. I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and have lived throughout the United States: Phoenix, Arizona; Boulder, Colorado; Seattle, Washington; and here in Santa Cruz, California. I have traveled widely, loving to explore new places. I also teach "Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain," (teaching how to go from stick figures to realism in seven weeks or less). I have a 14-year-old daughter, who is wonderfully creative and became a Buddhist on her own. We are both taking Japanese language at our local community college. I currently work in law enforcement, have been finger-printed by the FBI (so I'm very ethical), and used to be a therapist for delinquent teens. I love giving readings and wish I were able to do it full-time (but my daughter's care comes first). I hope that this small background is useful. (Click the Buffalo to see some SNOW photos of Buffalo, New York! You'll know why I live in California now!) Read about the I Ching seminar by Khigh Deigh, the actor who played Wo Fat on Hawaii 5-O and who also held a Ph.D. in Chinese Philosophy. I met him through the A.R.E. Clinic -- another wonderfully unusual and talented person. His wisdom is related here -- click on the peaceful panda enjoying the bamboo.
