White Labrador Retrievers are simply yellow labs possessing a very pale yellow coat. Yellows can range from almost white to fox red in color. They are registered as "yellow" on their akc papers. The lighter yellow labs have become very popular as pets. You can have a litter of pale yellows and still have some puppies with enough color to do very well in the show ring. These slightly darker pups tend to have a thicker, harder coat and usually the puppy I will choose to keep out of my yellow litters. |
