Chad Shepard was the driver of the #47 Street Stock at Spartan Speedway from 1999-2001. During the 2002 season, he will be racing his #47 Limited Late Model at Owosso Speedway. He is a second generation driver, carrying on the legacy by racing with his father's paint scheme and number. His father, the late Allan Shepard, raced Late Models at Spartan Speedway from 1979-1984.
Chad was born in Owosso, MI on April 26, 1977. Him and his wife Melissa make their home in Owosso.
Chad will be starting his fourth season in April of 2002.
He will be moving up a class and racing Limited Late Models at Owosso Speedway.
